Miami-Dade Introduces Phone Option For Setting COVID Vaccine Appointment

Miami-Dade County has made it easier for you to set an appointment to get your COVID vaccine by announcing a phone number to call, beginning today. While this is specifically an action taken towards helping persons 65 and older get ahold of a slot quickly and easy, anyone can call. There's still also very much the online option which is by visiting miamidade.gov/vaccine.

"We are taking urgent action to ensure no communities are left behind and all our seniors 65 and older have equal access to this lifesaving vaccine. To distribute the vaccine equitably to vulnerable Miami-Dade County residents, we are proud to introduce a phone option to expand access to the vaccine to protect our county and move forward together," Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said in a statement.
