17th Annual Dan Marino Wine & Cigar Dinner

PRO-FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME QUARTERBACK DAN MARINO TO HOST

17TH ANNUAL DAN MARINO WINE & CIGAR DINNER, BROUGHT TO YOU BY BADIA SPICES, PRESENTED BY ULTIMATE SOFTWARE

BENEFITING THE DAN MARINO FOUNDATION

On Monday, December 4, 2017, Pro-Football Hall of Fame Quarterback, Dan Marino, will host the 17th Annual Dan Marino Wine & Cigar Dinner, brought to you by Badia Spices, presented by Ultimate Software. Throughout the last seventeen years, this prestigious Wine & Cigar event has attracted some of the country’s most prominent business and community leaders. This year’s event will be hosted at The Indian Creek Country Club, Miami-Dade County's most exclusive private club, located at Indian Creek Village overlooking the Intracoastal waterway.

All proceeds will benefit The Dan Marino Foundation now “Celebrating 25 Years of Commitment.” For 25 years, the Foundation has been serving the autism community through unique, impactful initiatives, like Marino Campus – a post-secondary educational opportunity for young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, ages 18-28.  The first Campus, which opened in Broward County in 2013, was the logical next step in furthering the Foundation’s mission of "empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities." The Foundation has expanded this initiative, and in 2016 a second Campus opened its doors in Miami-Dade at Florida International University’s Modesto Maidique Campus.

Over the last seventeen years, the Dan Marino Wine & Cigar Dinner has attracted many of South Florida’s most prominent movers and shakers and has raised over $5 million dollars. This has been made possible through the support of the Foundation’s corporate partners such as, Badia Spices, Ultimate Software, South Florida Ford, Greenspoon Marder. Signature sponsors include, the Miami Dolphins, the Arturo Fuente Family of Premium Cigars, Passing Time Winery, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, and live auction sponsors Buddha Mama Jewelry, the Miami HEAT, and Shula Enterprises. As well as media partners, Comcast, Clear Channel Outdoor, and iHeartMedia.

“Since 1992 Claire and I have focused on making life better for those with autism through our Foundation. This annual event and the generosity of others have allowed us to meaningfully affect the lives of thousands of young people. But I can say without reservation that the young people we work with have had a greater affect in changing our lives for the better,” said Dan Marino, Chairman of The Dan Marino Foundation.
